Moonpapier is Engel’s inventive and captivating homage to renowned Israeli artist Menashe Kadishman’s iconic sculpture “Three Discs.” Inspired by Kadishman’s evocative exploration of geometric forms and dynamic balance, Engel embarked on a deeply personal journey to pay homage to Kadishman’s enduring influence. In “Three Discs,” Kadishman masterfully employed bold colours and geometric shapes to create a composition that defies gravity. Drawing upon this essence, Engel transformed the discs into petals, which take on a life of their own, evoking a sense of fluidity and grace. A tribute to the sculptor’s visionary approach to form and space, Engel invites viewers to contemplate the interplay between structure and movement. Customisation available
